About Little Maryam

Our story

Little Maryam was founded in 2021 by brothers Mohamed and Riduan el Mourabit from Veenendaal. The idea was born after the birth of Mohamed's son. As working parents, they wanted to give their child healthy, halal meals, but responsible halal baby food simply did not exist. Especially not a combination that was both organic and halal.

So they made it themselves.

In 2025, Sam (Btisame) Sioua and Marc Veltman, owners of Hal'All FoodFriends, took over the brand and continued to build on what the brothers had established. With respect for their vision and the ambition to help Little Maryam grow even further. Today, Little Maryam is stocked in over 1,000 supermarkets across the Netherlands, Belgium, and France, and our jars can be ordered directly through our own webshop.
